- Add your butter and sugar to a separate mixing bowl.
- Cream your butter and sugars until a smooth consistency forms. This should take around 5 minutes and is important.
- Add in your vanilla. Add in your eggs one by one, mixing in between each.
- Slowly add in your dry ingredients until just combined. Make sure not to over mix.
- Add in your chocolate chips and combine for 10 seconds.
- Wrap your dough in saran wrap and let rest in the ridge for ideally 24 hours but 1 hour will do as well.
- Bring your dough to room temperature and place it in your pie crust.
- Bake it in a preheated oven at 350F for 40-45 minutes depending on your oven.
