Instructions
Combine your flour, salt, and baking soda in a bowl.
Add your butter and sugar to a separate mixing bowl.
Cream your butter and sugars until a smooth consistency forms. This should take around 5 minutes and is important.
Add in your vanilla and your eggs one by one, mixing in between each.
Slowly add in your dry ingredients until just combined. Make sure not to over mix.
Add in your chocolate chips and combine for 10 seconds.
Wrap your dough in saran wrap and let rest in the ridge for ideally 24 hours but 1 hour will do as well.
Bring your dough to room temperature and place it in your pie crust.
Bake it in a preheated oven at 350F for 40-45 minutes depending on your oven.
