Tips for the Best Beef Fajitas
Don’t Overcrowd the Pan: Cook the beef in a single layer for a nice sear and better flavor.
Adjust the Veggie Texture: If you prefer softer veggies, cover them with aluminum foil and let them steam for a few extra minutes after cooking.
Use Fresh Lime: Freshly squeezed lime juice brightens up the flavors and is key to the perfect fajitas.
Customize Your Toppings: Add sour cream, pico de gallo, or jalapeños for extra flavor.
FAQ
Can I use a different cut of beef?
Yes! Thinly sliced skirt steak or flank steak works well if shaved beef isn’t available.
What other vegetables can I use?
You can add mushrooms, zucchini, or poblano peppers to the mix for variety.
Can I make this dish dairy-free?
Absolutely! Simply omit the butter and Cotija cheese. Use avocado oil for cooking instead.
How do I store leftovers?
Store the cooked beef and veggies in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet or microwave before serving.
What tortillas work best?
Both flour and corn tortillas are great options. Choose your favorite or use low-carb tortillas for a lighter meal.

I bought some lovely shaved beef and lovely peppers & a big white onion, but had no good Fajita recipe that I liked. So, today, with the luck of the algorithm search, I saw Lola's recipe and the word Easy. I have been fooled before, but not this time. I followed the steps, and Delicious. Thank you so much from an old lady who still likes cooking before my back gives out!
