  • 1.5 lbs shaved beef
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 yellow pepper sliced
  • 1 orange pepper sliced
  • 1 white onion sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic crushed
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt or salt to taste
  • 1 lime juiced
  • Cilantro chopped, for garnish
  • 1 avocado sliced
  • Tortillas flour or corn
  • Cotija cheese (optional

Instructions
 

Prep the Veggies

  • Slice the yellow pepper, orange pepper, and white onion into thin strips, or use pre-sliced fajita veggies from the grocery store.

Cook the Veggies

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil or melt 1 tablespoon of butter.

  • Add the sliced onions and cook for 2 minutes until softened.

  • Add the peppers and 1 teaspoon of the seasoning mix (chili powder, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and salt).

  • Stir and cook for 3 minutes until the veggies are slightly softened but still crisp. Set aside and cover with aluminum foil if you prefer them more tender.

Cook the Beef

  • In the same skillet, add a bit of oil and heat over medium-high heat.
