Hash Browns

  • 6 frozen hash browns

Taco Meat

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey: Provides the hearty, protein-packed base for the taco topping. Opt for lean ground meat to keep it lighter.
  • 1 packet of your favorite taco seasoning: Adds the quintessential taco flavor, making this dish instantly recognizable and delicious.

Toppings

  • 1 cup Mexican cheese: A blend of cheeses like cheddar, Monterey Jack, and others that melt beautifully over the hot taco meat.
  • ¼ cup mozzarella: Adds a mild, creamy contrast to the sharper flavors of the Mexican cheese.
  • ½ white onion, diced: Provides a fresh, crunchy bite that cuts through the richness of the meat and cheese.
  • ¼ cup cilantro, diced: Brings a fresh, herby note that brightens the dish.
  • Salsa: Adds a tangy, spicy element. Use your favorite store-bought or homemade salsa.
  • Pico de Gallo: A fresh salsa made with diced tomatoes, onions, and cilantro that adds a bright, zesty flavor.

Chipotle Queso

  • ½ cup queso dip: A creamy, cheesy dip that serves as the base for the chipotle queso sauce.
  • ¼ cup sour cream: Adds tanginess and extra creaminess to the queso.
  • 1 tablespoon adobo sauce from chipotle peppers: Introduces a smoky, spicy kick to the queso, taking it to the next level.
