Start off the New Year with a bang! Easy same day focaccia with a garlic confit brine topping! Focaccia sandwiches bring me so much joy 😋 ingredients below & full video on YouTube 💕

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups warm water, 105-110 F
1 tsp honey
7 g instant yeast/ rapid rise yeast
3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, for the dough
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil , for the pan

Topping:

5 cloves of garlic confit
½ cup water
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp coarse sea salt

Sandwich:

6-8 slices of mortadella
1 container (8oz) burrata
1 tbsp zaatar breadcrumbs (optional)
Arugula
1 tsp olive oil
Pinch of salt
Tomatoes (optional)
Balsamic glaze (optional)

Zaatar Pistachio Breadcrumbs (optional):

½ cup breadcrumbs
1 tsp zaatar seasoning
2 tbsp pistachios

Combine in food processor until fine!.

¾ cup whole milk
¼ cup heavy cream
½ cup creme fraîche
½ tsp black pepper
½ cup unsalted butter
